Chuck Haselwood's trip from a sectarian ranch in Ellensburg to a renowned business owner and area leader in Bremerton is a testament to his perseverance and business spirit. Birthed in 1923, Chuck's tale began with a bold choice to leave behind the farming life and hitchhike to Bremerton, where he began his occupation working at a filling station. His solution in Globe War II under General Patton only developed his drive, leading him to enter the pre-owned vehicle organization after returning home. Partnering with Danny Jones, Chuck launched his own filling station and marketed cars and trucks, ultimately forming a long-term collaboration with Bud Higgs to develop Chuck & Buds-- a cars and truck dealer that focused on customer support, supplying warranties uncommon at the time.

Chuck's ruthless drive for innovation led him to broaden his company beyond utilized cars. Chuck's heritage lives on not just in the vehicles he offered, but in his deep dedication to his area, which continues to grow in Kitsap County today.
